In the Middle ages, Europeans used natural horns made from brass. It is designed to communicate with distant friends of hunters and to spread fear to enemies by imitating the voices of various animals.
French horns were used as a means of communication in battles as well.

In the 19th century, the animation and sounds were changed and updated, and the Modern French Horn was born.
